How do I earn Karma?

Hi there! Do you find this message annoying? Why not make a post and get rid of it?

I've been with this site for like 2-3 months. I never really cared about it until it got into negative numbers. So can anyone tell me how to earn Karma and how can one lose theirs?

If people put "Applaud" they like your post or just like your personality, which is +1 Karma

If people put "BOO" they didnt like your post or they dont like your personality, which is -1

People get to "Applaud" or "BOO" 1 time in one hour.

How do I applaud to a post? Is there a button hidden some where on each post or do I write "applaud"?

This feature is only available on some themes on this forum.
If you have the green and white one, the "Applaud" and "BOO" button should be by there username on the post under there Karma rating.
For some people, it doesnt show these buttons for some reason, it could be a different theme or something, I am not sure.

The boo and apluad is located left hand side, just under the forum name. the boo and appluad feature gets abused hence some people have -999 cause there are people rather boo some one for fun. I personaly disagree with the boo button, it should only be appluad so people don't have -99999 karma.

Whats i think we should try to in corparate is KUDOS. this is seen on some forums, its similar to karma, it just does not allow a user to make other usuers go negative, and you can only do it one per post.
