There have been many rumors circling around about LeBron leaving Cleveland. Honestly, I don't expect him to leave his homestate. However, the chances of him becoming successful in Dallas, as opposed to the Knicks, the Nets, and the Heat seem higher than any of the other 3 contenders. Here are the main reasons:
1. Salary Cap: Eric Dampier's 16.4 million dollar contract is expiring. Any team could do a sign and trade deal with Erick Dampier and just waive him off and save 16.4 million (a lot of money). To the Cavs, who might lose LeBron and gain absolutely nothing out of deals from other teams, this is much more preferable.
2. Supporting Team: Let's face it, every other team LeBron has eyed only has another superstar, with an average supporting team. The Mavericks are almost strictly team based, with Jason Kidd (who everyone wants to play with due to his recruiting abilities), Dirk (who would turn into Pippen if LeBron came in), Marion (who can play 3 postitions and defend 3) and a rising bench to support the team. The guy wouldn't have to carry a team anymore =).
3. Plan of Action Rick Carlisle has brought back what put the Mavericks in the Finals in 2006; Flexibility. They can run a half-court set that isn't dependant on isolations, and they've got a good combination of passers, outside shooters and jump shooters. What they really need to finish it all is someone who can penetrate regularly, get to the foul line, and use a jump shot as a last resort. Sounds kind of LeBronish to me.
So those are the reasons why I believe King James would do best in Dallas. Needless to say, I am a huge Mavericks fan and would love to see him play in Dallas. What are your thoughts on this?

The Knicks still wouldn't be much of a change for Lebron, and Lebron has plenty of money as it is with endorsements and other deals. I personally don't think Lebron will sign with the Mavs, but he would have a good setup if he did

Lebron with nowitzki would be deadly. I doubt it will happen though. I want lj to come to knicks but I also doubt this. Jayz is one of lebrons best friends and I kinda think lebron might go to nets if he does nets are going to be #1 contedors They can draft John Wall They put Wall as SG ,harris PG they got lopez as Center and lebron would just chnage the east.
But I highly doubt any moving from lebron ,he is going to stay with cavs. He is like the babe ruth of the cavs to be honest.

Again, I'm not saying LeBron would actually go to the Mavs, I'm saying he will have a good setup if he does

LeBron isn't going to the Mavs. He's definitely going to aim for the money (in my opinion) because he's a money guy, he wants to be the richest athlete to sports (which isn't going to happen anytime soon unless he's with the NY Knicks of course) so, in conclusion, he has a better chance at going to the playoffs & having money, then signing with the mavs & nearly making it to playoffs without Dirk if he stays.
